Now wait, I’m not putting down small change. It was a REFUND check from my wife’s school loan. We had overpaid them and they were sending me a check.
Wow! Pretty cool. The only problem? We PAID her school loan off…
THREE YEARS AGO!
Don’tchya just love that? If the shoe was on the other foot… and I was one day late? I would have been charged a financing fee, they would revoke the diploma, and remove one child from our house (which in our case… would be our only child).
I love it when financial institutions stick ya with fees and yet they can deliver poor service, slow responses, and extensive excuses.
Silly rabbit… complain’ins for kids.
So I’ll just look at the positive side and realize that TODAY… I can purchase a 99¢ burger, one of those gigantus pieces of round purple gum at the toystore and still have 5¢ to spare.
Man… what a good day!
